Someone heard the universe's answer and thus questioned the universe, 'You say everything is arranged for the best. When one witnesses someone being attacked and dying, and they remain silent, taking no action, is there still humanity?'
The universe responded, 'Of course, one can extend a helping hand; these individuals possess a compassionate heart. Bodhisattvas are inherently compassionate and eager to assist. However, at the same time, they understand that all worldly phenomena are manifested by themselves. Others are themselves, and helping others is helping oneself. In reality, everything is like a fleeting dream, empty and insubstantial; no one can help, and there is nothing to help. Everything is merely about advancing in one's own practice. It's akin to watching a player in a violent video game. When they are killing within the video game, would you unplug their power cord and take away their mouse?
