A young man followed a wise person into the forest to play. As the night grew late, the young man looked outside the house. He was excited and curious about the forest, wanting to experience it. He opened the door, and it was pitch black outside. Fear gripped the young man's heart. Suddenly, he spotted an animal foraging not far away.Upon closer inspection, it was a raccoon. The raccoon also saw the young man, and they locked eyes.
The young man thought, "This is too terrifying. Will the raccoon attack me and bite me?"
The raccoon thought, "This is so scary. Is this person going to catch and eat me?"
The more they thought, the more terrified they became. The young man quickly turned and went back inside, locking the doors and windows. The raccoon fled in panic as well. Inside the house, the young man told the wise person what had just happened. After hearing it, the wise person burst into laughter.
The wise person said, "This is truly a great opportunity. The universe arranged it to help you overcome your fear."
The young man asked, "What should I do then?"
The wise person said, "When your heart is filled with love, replacing the thoughts of fear in your mind with thoughts of love, Fear will naturally disappear."
The young man suddenly realized and decided to go out again to practice the teachings. The young man stepped outside, gazing at the starry night sky. He marveled at how beautiful the night was and how peaceful nature was. His heart was filled with tranquility. Suddenly, another raccoon appeared in the young man's view. They locked eyes once again.
The young man thought, "I never thought raccoons could be so cute. With their round bodies and the dark circles around their eyes, they just look like pandas."
The raccoon thought, "The look in this person's eyes is so gentle. I've never seen anything like it. I can't handle it. It's making me blush. I need to slip away quickly."
So, the young man saw the raccoon lower its head in shyness and vanish in the blink of an eye. The young man was overjoyed. He quickly returned to the wise person to tell him the story...
