Recently, there has been a rapid development in technology. A series of astonishing achievements have emerged. Artificial Intelligence (AI) can generate realistic videos based on text descriptions. Food can be synthesized using biotechnology, such as palm oil, butter, and meat products. Following this trend of development, soon, people will live in AI-generated virtual reality, consume technologically synthesized food, and cannot distinguish between real and fake. How can one distinguish the genuine from the fake? I am pondering this question.
At this moment, during the World Government Summit 2024, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, when asked about what people should learn at the forefront of technology, stated: If given another chance, he would not learn computer science, but rather life sciences, as it allows discovering the mysteries of life. Here he used the term "discovery." After hearing his words, I had a sudden enlightenment. Mr. Huang conveyed a message: To explore the truth of everything, one should not seek externally but internally. External information and the experiences of the five senses can be deceptive, but through inside exploration, you will discover the mysteries and realities of life. Because every person is inherently complete, knowing everything from the beginning. It's just that, with growth, various external knowledge and information gradually obscure our hearts, making us unable to see the truth. Once we can quiet our thoughts, let the brain become still, and turn inward, we can listen to the voice of our hearts. By doing so, we can distinguish between the real and the fake and discover the reality of life. Thanks to Mr. Huang for his guidance!
